Accessibility

Last updated: May 28, 2026

CosmoWords is built to be enjoyed by as many players as possible. We want the puzzles to feel welcoming whether you play with the screen on full brightness, with the sound off, with a screen reader, or with the phone in your pocket vibrating quietly in your hand.

What we aim for

We design CosmoWords with the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) in mind. Accessibility is part of every release we ship, and we keep improving as we learn from our players.

Features that help

Play in your language

CosmoWords is available in 24 languages. The app picks up your device language automatically on first launch, and you can change it any time from Settings.

Vibration feedback

On mobile, the app uses gentle vibrations to confirm important moments — when a word is found, a level is completed, or an input is not accepted. You can turn vibrations on or off any time from Settings, and your choice is remembered.

Comfortable to look at

CosmoWords uses a calm dark theme that is easy on the eyes, especially in low-light settings. The app contains no flashing or strobing content and is safe to play for people sensitive to bright flashes.

Works with the tools you already use

CosmoWords is designed to work with the assistive features built into your device, such as VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android, as well as system options for reducing motion.

Get in touch
